Butterfly Walk Field Trip

Join OVAS and one of the top lepidopterists in the state, Edward Perry, on a butterfly walk of Tosohatchee WMA. Edward is a park ranger at the Sebastian Inlet State Park and participates in annual NABA butterfly counts. Tosohatchee WMA traditionally has some of the highest biodiversity counts for butterflies in central Florida and has been known for such rare butterflies as Cuban Crescent, and Fulvous and Juniper Hairstreaks. Not to mention numerous species of skippers. The meeting spot is 3365 Taylor Creek Road in Christmas, FL.
